   8 class="right"]] My family is the greatest source of joy in my
   9 life. Stacy and I have been married since December 30, 1995 and are
  10 having many wonderful adventures raising our four sons, Cameron,
  11 Hyrum, Andrew, and Scott. One defining aspect of our family life is
  12 our membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
  13 ([lds.org](http://lds.org)). Another essential aspect of our family
  14 life is play. The [[LEGO]] system is a favorite toy of all the boys in
  15 the family, and we're starting to put together a decent collection of
  16 favorite [[games]]. We also love wrestling together and doing pretty
  17 much anything to make each other laugh.

  21 Since about the age of 10, (think BASIC on an Apple ][e), I've found
  22 myself wanting to program computers more often than time generally
  23 allows. I feel very fortunate that so much [Free
  24 Software](http://www.fsf.org/licensing/essays/free-sw.html) exists
  25 that I can very often find that someone else has already written the
  26 programs that I would like to write if I had the time, (and I'm given
  27 the freedom to adapt the software to my exact desires). I'm also very
  28 fortunate to work for [Red Hat](http://www.redhat.com) which gives me
  29 the opportunity to write Free Software as a full-time job.

  32 software project that I've spent the most time on is the [cairo
  33 graphics library](http://cairographics.org) which has been a
  34 tremendous amount of fun, but it's really only interesting for other
  35 programmers. Non-programmers might be interested in some of the other
  36 games and toys that I've written. I share all my programs as Free
  37 Software and I'll put more information about obtaining those programs
  38 here soon, (please pester me if you're interested in something I've
  39 written and cannot find it).

  43 I enjoy doing origami, and I've recently started studying word lists
  44 suitable for games like SCRABBLE, (though, oddly enough, I very rarely
  45 play any such games). I've also recently started running for exercise,
  46 and I'm thinking of taking up indoor rock-climbing.

  50 migrate to a new location. The most significant information on the old
  51 web pages is the collection of [papers and
