tags Dirk was reduced to since markdown doesn't always do the obvious thing. The relevant text in the MarkDown specification is: List items may consist of multiple paragraphs. Each subsequent paragraph in a list item must be indented by either 4 spaces or one tab: http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/syntax#list That's quite obnoxious because alignment with two spaces would be much more natural.
