   4 class="floatright"]] My family is the greatest source of joy in my
   5 life. Stacy and I have been married since December 30, 1995 and are
   6 having many wonderful adventures raising our four sons, Cameron,
   7 Hyrum, Andrew, and Scott. One defining aspect of our family life is
   8 our membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
   9 ([lds.org](http://lds.org)). Another essential aspect of our family
  10 life is play. The [[LEGO]] system is a favorite toy of all the boys in
  11 the family, and we're starting to put together a decent collection of
  12 favorite [[games]]. We also love wrestling together and doing pretty
  13 much anything to make each other laugh.

  17 Since about the age of 10, (think BASIC on an Apple ][e), I've found
  18 myself wanting to program computers more often than time generally
  19 allows. I feel very fortunate that so much [Free
  20 Software](http://www.fsf.org/licensing/essays/free-sw.html) exists
  21 that I can very often find that someone else has already written the
  22 programs that I would like to write if I had the time, (and I'm given
  23 the freedom to adapt the software to my exact desires). I'm also very
  24 fortunate to work for [Red Hat](http://www.redhat.com) which gives me
  25 the opportunity to write Free Software as a full-time job.

  27 The single software project that I've spent the most time on is the
  28 [cairo graphics library](http://cairographics.org) which has been a
  29 tremendous amount of fun, but it's really only interesting for other
  30 programmers. Non-programmers might be interested in some of the other
  31 games and toys that I've written. I share all my programs as Free
  32 Software and I'll put more information about obtaining those programs
  33 here soon, (please pester me if you're interested in something I've
  34 written and cannot find it).

  38 I enjoy doing origami, and I've recently started studying word lists
  39 suitable for games like SCRABBLE, (though, oddly enough, I very rarely
  40 play any such games). I've also recently started running for exercise,
  41 and I'm thinking of taking up indoor rock-climbing.

  45 migrate to a new location. The most significant information on the old
  46 web pages is the collection of [papers and
