   9 is a filter which allows examination of compressed or plain text files
  10 one screenful at a time on a soft-copy terminal.  It is the equivalent of
  11 setting the environment variable PAGER to
  12 .I less,
  13 and then running zmore.  However, enough people seem to think that having the
  14 command
  15 .I zless
  16 available is important to be worth providing it.
